About the event
The chicken processing workshops involve taking about 20 meat chickens, usually our Home-Bred Broilers, and giving details on breed selection, hatch to harvest care and feeding, then demonstration of the butchering process. You are welcome to participate as much or as little as you wish! At the end of the workshop (usually 3-4 hours) you’ll go home with 1 of the chickens we’ve processed, and a booklet with all the info we cover during the class!
